Hellens offers an expansive range of contracting works. We strive to deliver a successful scheme within budget, on programme but without any compromise on quality. We carry out schemes for all North East local authorities as well as private house builders and developers.

Hellens aims to deliver schemes with minimum impact on the local environment and members of the public at all times. We employ our own skilled workforce and have an in-house plant fleet. This enables us to optimise remediation solutions and include value engineering, thus preventing unnecessary costs to our clients. The entire workforce is CSCS accredited and a large percentage has street works accreditations. We carry out all aspects of development and regeneration from site clearance and demolition through to achievement of a clean validation report ready for build.

Historic Parks and Gardens

Hellens excels in its provision of a complete design and build service for the creation and refurbishment of public parks and open space. Completed schemes have various budgets from £10,000 to £4.5million.

Employees are experienced in working on ecologically or historically sensitive sites and in the procurement, handling and use of specialist and high specification materials required in restoration and refurbishment projects.

In particular the Company has undertaken a series of Heritage lottery funded regeneration projects.
