These are some of the key facts about the land to the west of Callerton Lane.

The indicative masterplan comprises of the following:-

  • Market Housing
  • Affordable Housing
  • Extra care facilities including ground floor ancillary retail

The proposals are in in keeping with the emerging Northumberland Core Strategy.

We are seeking your views on the proposals and in addition what type of housing you would like to see on site, in addition to any other ancillary uses.

Local Planning Authority – Northumberland County Council

Site Status – Planning application due to be submitted imminently

Site Area – Circa 22 acre

Open Green Space –  TBC

Number of homes – Around 187, with a mix of 2, 3, 4 and 5 bed houses

Community Engagement – We are holding our public exhibition at Ponteland Memorial Hall on Thursday 2nd February 2017 between 2pm and 8pm. We would encourage local resident’s to come along and share their views with us on the proposed development or alternatively download a copy of the questionnaire online and return it to us.

Online Consultation Event – The online consultation will run from Friday 27th January 2017 until Friday 10th February 2017.
